Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Whiteside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chico Sanchez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez closes the distance and pushes Whiteside back into the cage.
Whiteside wants to break free but Sanchez has control.
Whiteside throws a head punch that misses.
Whiteside is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sanchez can't fight it off and eventually Whiteside manages to take the fight to the floor. Sanchez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Whiteside throws a strike but Sanchez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Whiteside isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sanchez stacks Whiteside on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sanchez!

Whiteside turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Whiteside manages to end up in side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Whiteside looks up at the clock and then as Sanchez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Whiteside smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
