Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cage Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deair Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deair Shaw is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cage Rage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deair Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rage manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rage was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Shaw has a takedown stuffed.
Shaw takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rage lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Deair Shaw has been cut.
Shaw takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Shaw is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rage moves out of range as Shaw throws a body kick.
Shaw changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rage tries to avoid it but Shaw manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rage to the ground. Rage escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rage swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Rage cracks Shaw with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Shaw looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rage finish him?


Shaw is rocked!
Rage is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crack! Rage connects with the perfect overhand right and Shaw falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Rage!
