The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayweather scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Miller tries to bench press Mayweather off him but Mayweather keeps the position.
Mayweather wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.

Miller avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Mayweather.

Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mayweather manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Mayweather is trying to trip Miller. He has hold of a leg but Miller is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mayweather persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Miller goes for a double leg but Mayweather avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mayweather continues to drive forward.

Mayweather is trying to hold Miller in close to prevent damage but Miller has managed to pass into half guard.

Miller is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Miller connects with a nice short shot to Mayweather's temple.

Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Miller is nestled in close to Mayweather, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Miller takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Mayweather is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Miller pulls his head out easily.

Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mayweather is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold.
Mayweather has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miller is working away from the top position though.
