Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Marcelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward comes to the cage accompanied by Spazz - Crush Kill Destroy. Rodrigo Marcelo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcelo tries to clinch but Ward moves out of range.
Max Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marcelo throws a solid leg kick but Ward takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Marcelo.

Ward looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Marcelo pushes Ward off but Ward dives into side control.
Marcelo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
You can see the frustration on Marcelo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ward is putting a hurting on Marcelo here, landing some big shots from side control.
Check out the look on Ward's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Marcelo tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ward presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Marcelo is bucking up trying to escape but Ward cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice elbow there by Ward.
Marcelo is trying desperately to improve position.

Ward cracks Marcelo with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
