Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Demetrious Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pop Corn! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Corn finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head. Corn scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johnson in his tracks. Johnson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Corn, as that shot connected.
Corn misses with a body shot.
Corn misses with a low kick. Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Corn jabs Johnson right on the nose. Johnson blinks but takes it well. Johnson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Johnson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Corn on his heels. He'll look to pass Corn's guard now, I'm sure. Corn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Corn trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.
Johnson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corn trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson stands up over Corn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Johnson scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson landing some decent shots from guard.
Corn is rocked! Johnson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Corn is still in real trouble! Can Johnson finish him? Johnson postures up and lands a big shot to Corn's brow. Johnson postures up.
Johnson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Corn covers up, he's hurt! Johnson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Johnson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Johnson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
