Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Vasiliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasiliev's entrance music is Russian Barakuda. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Davis's choice of entrance music: the Offspring - Beheaded. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vasiliev.
Davis lands a front kick.
Davis misses with a head kick.
Davis tries to bum rush Vasiliev with a series of wild strikes but Vasiliev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Davis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Vasiliev shoots in for a double leg but Davis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Davis misses with an attempted mid kick.

Davis looks to land a combination but Vasiliev avoids it well.

Vasiliev can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape.

Vasiliev sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Vasiliev goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Davis turns into him and now he's in Vasiliev's guard.

Davis wanted to stand there but Vasiliev had control of the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Davis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Vasiliev swings around for an armbar but Davis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vasiliev's guard.

Vasiliev had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Davis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vasiliev Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Davis's back instead.

Vasiliev is trying to control but Davis is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Oleg Vasiliev will probably get the nod.

Duke Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
