Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tchort Abbadon and Vasilli Drakov. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Tchort Abbadon! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Vasilli Drakov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Abbadon misses with a takedown

and Drakov counters with a shoot takedown. Abbadon fights it but they end up in guard.

Abbadon pulls Drakov in close to prevent any damage.
Drakov wants to pass the guard but Abbadon is keeping the position.

Drakov drops back looking for a leg! Abbadon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Abbadon manages to kick Drakov off! Drakov jumps back into Abbadon's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drakov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Drakov stays in close to Abbadon's body and controls the position.
Abbadon has control of Drakov's left arm, preventing Drakov from doing any damage.
Abbadon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Drakov is one step ahead there.
Drakov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Abbadon trying to keep a closed guard but Drakov is proving a slippery customer.
Drakov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Let's hope that Drakov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Drakov trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Abbadon manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Abbadon looking to sit in guard and control but Drakov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Abbadon is trying to get back to full guard.
Drakov tries to pass to full mount but Abbadon defends it.

Drakov is working for a submission of some sort.

Drakov seems to be working for a kimura but Abbadon defends the submission attempt.

Drakov is taking a breather. Abbadon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Abbadon is looking to improve his position.
Drakov works his way into side control.

Abbadon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drakov on the ground.

Drakov looking to control and managing it successfully.
It looks like Drakov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Abbadon wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Abbadon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Abbadon rolls, trying to escape but Drakov keeps control of the position.

Drakov looking for the choke from the back.
Drakov struggling to keep hold of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Drakov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Abbadon has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Drakov keeps control of the position easily here as Abbadon tries to buck him off.
Drakov controlling well, preventing Abbadon from escaping the position.

Drakov working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Abbadon is doing well to defend. Drakov seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Abbadon is forced to tap and this one is over!
