Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Pablo Esposito and Alexei Orlov. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Alexei Orlov! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. The fight moves into the clinch position. Esposito looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Orlov successfully pulls guard.

Esposito drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Orlov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Esposito has Orlov in his guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Orlov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Esposito, who protects the arm well. Esposito tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Orlov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Orlov wants to control but Esposito is keeping him busy. Orlov tries to move into full mount but can't pass Esposito's legs. You can see the frustration on Esposito's face as Orlov controls the position. Esposito regains half guard there - taking advantage of Orlov's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Orlov is looking to stall here but Esposito recovers full guard. Esposito seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Orlov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Orlov content to stall in guard here. Orlov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Esposito swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Orlov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Orlov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Esposito tries to buck Orlov off but Orlov is having none of it. Orlov trying to control the action but Esposito is working from the bottom. Orlov in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Esposito is not content to let Orlov control the position. Esposito is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Orlov tries to move into full mount but can't pass Esposito's legs. Orlov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Orlov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Esposito is looking for a sweep. Esposito struggling a bit here. Orlov advances nicely into full mount. Score +2 for reaching mount: Esposito (2) vs (13) Orlov Esposito is squirming around, avoiding Orlov's attempts to control the action.
