Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adolfo Christensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vern Shillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adolfo Christensen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vern Shillinger!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shillinger wants to clinch.
Christensen closes the distance and clinches up with Shillinger, looking for a takedown. Christensen pushes Shillinger against the cage but Shillinger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Shillinger fails with the takedown
and Christensen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Christensen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Christensen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shillinger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Shillinger wants to sweep here but Christensen controlling him for the moment.
Christensen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shillinger has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Christensen is looking to defend but Shillinger has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Christensen! Shillinger pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Christensen taps out and this one is all over!
