The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Hong pushes Johnson up against the cage in a clinch. Hong wants a takedown but no success here.

Hong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hong tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard. Johnson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hong defends it easily. Johnson has his hands on Hong's head, controlling the position. Johnson wants to get back to full guard.
