The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twister avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Oshiro lands a really nice looking cross but Twister seems unphased.

Twister closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oshiro is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Twister goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Oshiro has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Twister but great work by Oshiro.

Twister has his foot on Oshiro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oshiro works his way back into a safe position though.
Oshiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Twister swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oshiro would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Twister working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oshiro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Twister is tightening it up a little... Oshiro has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Oshiro reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Oshiro taps out! Nice BJJ there by Twister!
