The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demayo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kalezic takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kalezic takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kalezic looks to land a combination but Demayo avoids it well.
Demayo digs a good body shot into Kalezic's ribs.
Jab, jab by Demayo - just one landing.
A jab lands there for Demayo.
Demayo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kalezic.
Demayo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Demayo cracks Kalezic with an open hand slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Demayo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kalezic tries to clinch there but Demayo circles away.
Kalezic takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Zoran Kalezic has been cut.
Demayo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Paul Demayo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Demayo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kalezic tries for a takedown but Demayo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Demayo lands a slapping body shot.
Demayo connects with a looping right hand.
Kalezic is rocked!
Demayo lands a big uppercut and Kalezic crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kalezic looks OK. Demayo waves Kalezic back to his feet!
Oh Kalezic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Demayo closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Kalezic out cold! Kalezic corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
