Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Diego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joopoo Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Diego! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joopoo Bear! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear throws a leg kick that is checked and Diego counters by moving into the clinch. Bear tries to throw a body punch but Diego avoids it by throwing Bear back against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bear. Diego prevents a body shot from Bear. Diego lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Diego content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Diego is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bear has managed to free his arm - good work. Diego passes into side control, despite Bear's attempt to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear can't do much from the bottom here. Bear really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diego. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bear trying to remain calm as Diego controls from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diego seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bear for as long as he can get away with. Bear is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Diego taking a breather here. Bear takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Bear tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bear can't do much from the bottom here. Bear bucks up and tries to throw Diego off but instead Diego has got his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Diego controlling the positon. Bear is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Bear is trying to defend against the choke here but Diego has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Diego Tightens the hold and Bear taps out furiously! Diego displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Carlos Diego!
