Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rupert Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rupert Jones! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones pulls guard effortlessly. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wallace's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position. Wallace is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones throwing strikes from guard but Wallace blocks nicely. Wallace has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position. Wallace wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wallace is proving hard to escape from. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wallace is keeping the position for now. Jones content to stall in guard here. Wallace working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones landing with the ground and pound. Jones looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jones is pushing down on Wallace's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wallace is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Wallace is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wallace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallace somewhat. Jones shoots in but no luck this time. Wallace is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jones. Jones gets a clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wallace has Jones pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wallace pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jones tumbling to the mat - Wallace dives into Jones's guard. Wallace with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rupert Jones dominated that round. That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones throws a right and a left that Wallace avoids nicely. Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Wallace appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wallace was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jones wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position. Wallace has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones preventing the sweep. Jones engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jones slips nicely into half guard. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones lands with a punch from half guard. Jones content to control rather than advance. It looks like Jones is going to stand back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A head kick by Jones misses and Wallace counters with a two punch combo. Wallace moves out of range of the leg kick from Jones. Wallace throws a counter high kick but Jones was just alert enough to avoid it. Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants a takedown but no success here.
Wallace throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Jones lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wallace makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Rupert Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones is breathing heavily. Wallace fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wallace wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wallace manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wallace is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rupert Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rupert Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Jones gets a clinch. Jones drags the fight down to the ground.

And that's the end of the fight! Rupert Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
