Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Edkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamahl Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Paul Edkins has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Edkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamahl Jones!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dives in and grabs Edkins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Edkins pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
A little feinted left hand from Edkins on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jones looks winded!
Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice shot lands for Edkins.
That has opened up Jamahl Jones's cut even more.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Edkins misses with a two punch combination.
Jones unleashes a big counter combination but Edkins bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Edkins lands a two punch combo.
Edkins falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Edkins misses with a two punch combination.
Jones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Edkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones tries to counter with a clinch but Edkins shakes him off and moves away.
Sloppy strikes from Edkins. Those never looked like landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Edkins misses with the combination.
Edkins throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Edkins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Edkins feints a jab promting Jones to slip. Edkins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jones slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Edkins looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Edkins scores with a decent looking hook.
The cut above Jamahl Jones's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jones takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jones is rocked!
Edkins lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Jones out cold! Jones is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Paul Edkins!
In defeat, Jamahl Jones stepped up to the mic, saying 'It was a good fight my opponent was a good challenge and ill get it next time. '.
