The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPeak looks for a takedown but Pennington sprawls well.

Pennington fires out a quick counter leg kick but McPeak just manages to avoid it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pennington is looking for a triangle but McPeak pushes his legs off easily.
McPeak is sitting in close to Pennington's body. Pennington has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McPeak is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McPeak is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pennington.
