Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mat Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weber comes to the cage accompanied by We Are The Union - We Don't Care If Yesterday Burns, Stoke Up The Fire. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jason Weber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mat Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weber gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Weber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Oh Weber is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Weber quite badly. Weber pulls Diaz in close trying to recover. Diaz postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Weber on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Weber doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mat Diaz!
