The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguirre stuffs the takedown.
Aguirre lands a jab to Ruhl's midsection.
Ruhl closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aguirre circles away.
Aguirre tries a head kick but it misses.
Aguirre throws a head kick that misses
and Ruhl counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Jerrold Aguirre has been cut.
Ruhl has Aguirre up against the cage in a clinch.
Ruhl escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aguirre throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aguirre wants to clinch but Ruhl slips to the side
and Ruhl counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Aguirre out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Ruhl is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
