Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago tries to clinch there but Faber circles away.
Faber throws a half hearted mid kick.
Faber throws a body kick that misses.
Drago fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Faber gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Drago counters by moving into the clinch.
Faber is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Faber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Drago is looking to clinch but Faber is avoiding it.

and Drago counters with an outside leg kick.
Faber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Drago's guard.
Drago looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Faber slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Drago is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Drago throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Faber blocks it with crossed arms.

A bit of stalling here from Drago.
Faber tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Drago just stands there and leans against the cage.
Faber looking to stall.
Drago looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Faber wants to break free but Drago has control.
Faber wants to get back to striking at distance but Drago won't allow it.

Faber wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Drago has him pressed against the cage.
Faber tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Drago smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franklin Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drago has managed to clinch.

Faber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Faber misses with a few strikes there.
Faber sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Drago to the ground! Faber dives into full mount looking to finish!
Drago is rocked!
It looks like Gegard Drago has been cut.
Faber with a couple of short strikes.
Drago is still in real trouble! Can Faber finish him?
The referee warns Drago that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Faber scoring with strikes but Drago is staying in there.
Faber has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Drago's face.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Faber lands a big shot there that rocks Drago but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Drago bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Drago drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drago jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The cut man is working on Gegard Drago's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Drago keeps the fight on the outside.
Drago tries to clinch up.
Faber tries for a takedown but Drago circles away easily
and Drago counters with a shoot takedown. Faber fights it but they end up in guard.
Drago pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Faber is keeping the position for now.
Drago stands and throws Faber's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Drago goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Faber has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Drago but great work by Faber.
Faber has an Americana. Drago didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Faber is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Faber hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
