And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 76 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makebono Bowen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bobbit paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bowen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bowen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bowen tries a head kick but it misses.
Bobbit jabs Bowen right on the nose. Bowen blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Makebono Bowen has been cut.
Bobbit with a nice cross.
Bobbit throws a jab but it's blocked by Bowen.

Bobbit gets tackled into the cage by Bowen. Bowen maintains the clinch.
Bowen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bobbit has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bowen stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Bowen manages to break the clinch.

Bowen moves into the clinch successfully.
Bowen is pushing Bobbit up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Bowen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Makebono Bowen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bobbit misses the jab.

Bobbit tries to keep at a distance but Bowen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bobbit pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bowen takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Bobbit's corner calls for a 1-2. Bobbit obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That has opened up Makebono Bowen's cut even more.

Bobbit drops Bowen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bowen looks back up at him and smiles so Bobbit waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Bowen is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bowen switches off momentarily and Bobbit cracks him with a monster right hand! Bowen topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Bobbit dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Bobbit!
