Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin McCloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chauncey Woodward! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Colin McCloud! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCloud rushes Woodward and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McCloud pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. McCloud lands a high kick!
It looks like Chauncey Woodward has been cut. Colin McCloud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCloud throws a sloppy head kick and Woodward moves out of range easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. McCloud breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Woodward has managed to clinch.
Woodward jumps guard.
Woodward is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McCloud defends well. Woodward has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McCloud is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Woodward. Sloppy strikes there by McCloud.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCloud stands up and we're back to a striking position. McCloud is looking to clinch. Woodward has closed the distance and engaged McCloud in a clinch.
McCloud putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Woodward in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. McCloud manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McCloud is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McCloud keeping moving, preventing Woodward from controlling successfully. Woodward thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Woodward stops McCloud from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woodward sitting in guard, not really doing much. McCloud is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McCloud throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Woodward slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Woodward trying to control the position from guard on top but McCloud is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. McCloud has managed to clinch.
McCloud pulls guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Woodward is looking to advance position but McCloud has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCloud wants to control but Woodward has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Woodward looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Woodward works his way to full guard. Good work. McCloud is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Woodward throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McCloud stands up and waves to Woodward to follow him. Woodward clinches up against the cage. McCloud missing with knees to the body.
Woodward tries to pull guard but McCloud won't allow it.
McCloud breaks from the clinch.
McCloud scores with a head kick. Woodward tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Woodward fails with a takedown attempt. McCloud counters with a body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colin McCloud dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chauncey Woodward's cut. That's time! Woodward's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McCloud shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCloud showed some decent athleticism there. Woodward tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Woodward gets full guard. Woodward looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McCloud has picked Woodward up and slammed him! Woodward can't keep hold of the triangle and McCloud manages to pass to side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCloud scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Woodward to see if he's OK. McCloud working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Woodward gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCloud escapes and gets back to his feet. McCloud misses with a series of wild punches.
McCloud misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Whack! McCloud lands a heavy head kick that drops Woodward. The ref tackles McCloud to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Woodward was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Colin McCloud!
