The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sezz lands with a right hand.
Boyko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Boyko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Boyko creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sezz sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Sezz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boyko advances nicely into full mount.

Boyko is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sezz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sezz shrugs it off.

Sezz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boyko's head backwards.
Boyko looks for a takedown but Sezz sprawls well.

Sezz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boyko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boyko is looking for a kimura but Sezz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boyko to get the leverage.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Boyko here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boyko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sezz is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Boyko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sezz keeps working.
Boyko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sezz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Boyko.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Boyko has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sezz finds it's way round the side to connect with Boyko's head.
Sezz cracks Boyko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Boyko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sezz finish him?
Boyko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sezz sprawls well. Sezz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boyko gets slowly back to his feet.
Sezz looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Sezz fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Boyko out cold! Brutal finish!
