Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bantoo Kumari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bantoo Kumari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Rush! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kumari napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kumari throws Rush to one side and escapes! Kevin Rush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kumari drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rush wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kumari manages to pass to side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kumari trying to control the action but Rush is working from the bottom. Rush slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kumari trying to move into half guard but instead Rush has managed to sweep! Kumari throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rush loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rush throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kumari works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kumari is trying to keep Rush in close.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kumari is on top in guard.
Rush keeping moving, preventing Kumari from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rush can do anything to dispel that myth. Rush has control of Kumari's left arm, preventing Kumari from doing any damage. Kumari pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rush is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kumari stopping the sweep attempt from Rush. Kumari trying to control the position from guard on top but Rush is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kumari works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rush wants to sweep but Kumari has passed to side control! Kumari thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kumari is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Rush's face as Kumari controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kumari misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kumari decides to take the fight back to the feet. Kumari shoots in and drives through. Rush sprawls well. Rush lands with a good body shot. Kumari on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A nice combination there by Rush.
Rush misses with a head kick.
As Rush looks to move away, Kumari throws a big counter combo but Rush just gets out of the way.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rush misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kumari shoots in but Rush avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rush throws a good cross that connects.
Rush gets a double leg takedown into Kumari's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rush advances to half guard. Rush looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kumari with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kumari manages to get to full guard.
Rush distracts Kumari with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Rush dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kumari tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rush sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kumari somewhat. Kumari tries to clinch up. It seemed like Rush was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kumari drops his hands momentarily and Rush needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kumari just on the top of the head. Kumari drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kumari - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kevin Rush! A less than humble Kevin Rush misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
