Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Erek Oberdorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oberdorf comes to the cage accompanied by Remedy. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oberdorf throws a right and a left that Nakamura avoids nicely.
Oberdorf fails to land with a series of punches.
Nakamura closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nakamura lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Oberdorf could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nakamura wants to work for an arm triangle but Oberdorf is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nakamura bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Oberdorf tries to bench press Nakamura off him but Nakamura keeps the position.

and Nakamura counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Oberdorf's guard now.
Nakamura is in close to Oberdorf's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Nakamura postures up in Oberdorf's guard and throws a big left but Oberdorf blocks it.

Nakamura is nestled in close to Oberdorf, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
