Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jejomar Binay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shigeno Goro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jejomar Binay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shigeno Goro! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Binay has Goro up against the cage in a clinch.
Goro tries to land knees in the clinch but Binay avoids the damage to the body. Binay fails to pull guard.
Goro is trying to drag Binay to the mat but Binay just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Binay misses with a hook to the ribs.
Goro jumps guard but Binay turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Binay wants to break free but Goro has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Goro. Binay throws Goro to one side and escapes!
That's one minute gone in the round. Binay closes the distance and pushes Goro back into the cage. Binay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Goro pulls him back up using the underhooks. Goro tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Binay just stands there and leans against the cage. Jejomar Binay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shigeno Goro. Binay ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Binay no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Goro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Goro throws a big elbow that misses. Binay tries to land a sweep but no joy. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Binay is on top in guard.
Goro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Binay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Goro seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Binay passes easily into side control. Nice work. A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goro struggling a bit here. Goro avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Binay. Goro managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Binay.
You can see the frustration on Goro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Goro tries to control but Binay manages to take his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Binay tries to keep control of the position but Goro is staying busy. Binay really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Goro. Binay tightening his grip on Goro, looking for the choke. Goro trying to control the hands but Binay won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Binay thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Binay tries to get the hooks in deep but Goro pushed the leg off. Goro defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goro looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. I would not like to be Goro right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jejomar Binay dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Binay looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goro is fending him off so far but Binay persists. Nope, Goro circles away and we're back to standing. Binay wants to clinch. Binay really is a fat lump. Binay swinging wildly here.
Goro with the counter takedown but Binay avoids it easily. Binay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Goro. Binay sneaks out the side door and pushes Goro away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Goro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Goro stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jejomar Binay. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goro tries to clinch but Binay moves out of range. Binay has managed to clinch.
Goro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Goro shoots for a takedown but Binay saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Goro is breathing heavily. Binay dives in for a single leg takedown but Goro sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Goro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Binay has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Goro is on him like a limpet, forcing Binay back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Goro jumps guard but Binay turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Binay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Goro pulls him back up using the underhooks. Goro is pressed up against the cage. Binay has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Goro down to the mat. Goro avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Goro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Binay.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Binay. Binay fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goro slaps away a takedown attempt from Binay, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jejomar Binay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Goro misses with a wild combination.
A little feinted left hand from Binay on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Goro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Binay. Binay moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromGoro. Binay tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Goro swivels and escapes. Goro manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Binay on his heels. He'll look to pass Binay's guard now, I'm sure. Binay scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Goro darts in and clinches Binay up against the cage. Binay wants to take the fight to the mat but Goro manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Jejomar Binay overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Binay trying to control the position.
Goro is fighting to break Binay's control of his arms but Binay is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Goro loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Binay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Binay is controlling the pace.

Goro is trying to maintain the position but Binay is very close to passing his half guard. Binay looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Goro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Binay. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goro can do anything to dispel that myth. Goro keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Binay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Goro keeps working. Binay passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Goro! Binay tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Binay lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Goro tries to improve his position but instead Binay has taken his back! Good control from Binay. Goro has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Binay. A bit of a pause in the action here. Binay controlling the positon. Goro preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Binay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Binay avoiding Goro 's attempts to control his hands. Binay looking to break Goro's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Goro remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Binay will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Goro avoids the strikes from Binay. Binay looking for the RNC. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Goro defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! Jejomar Binay showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Binay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
