Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramon Albert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Cruz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz misses the shot to the body. Albert seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Cruz getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Albert uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cruz.
Albert tries to counter with a takedown but Cruz is quick to defend against it. Albert takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cruz throws a body shot but no joy. A counter left hand to the body from Albert misses its target. Albert takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Donk. Cruz catches Albert right on the button with a cross. Albert uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cruz.
Albert takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A shot to the body from Cruz misses
and Albert holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Albert tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Albert tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cruz just stands there and leans against the cage. Albert tries to pull guard but Cruz holds him up against the cage and eventually Albert drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramon Albert. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cruz is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Albert rather than just go for the knockout. Albert tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cruz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Albert uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cruz.
Albert tries to counter with a takedown but Cruz is quick to defend against it. Cruz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Albert doesn't seem bothered though. OH! Albert has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Cruz smells blood and charges in for the finish! Cruz unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Albert sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
