Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Caspar Creel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Abdul Hai!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hai feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Creel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hai advances to half guard.
Hai stalling.
Hai is trying to control the action in half guard but Creel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hai is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hai slows the pace down in half guard.
Hai is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hai advances to half guard.

Hai is looking for a kimura here.

Hai moves nicely into side control.

Hai is trying to get an arm triangle but Creel is defending well.
Hai tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Hai trying to control the position but Creel is working away.
Hai takes a little break here. Creel wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hai lands a decent elbow from side control.

Hai is looking to take a break and control but Creel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hai advances nicely into full mount.
Creel tries to lock up and control but Hai gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Creel defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hai.

Creel has left one of his arms exposed and Hai doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Creel screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
