Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Kaspov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaan Tseng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sergei Kaspov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vaan Tseng! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Tseng finds it's target. Nice defenses there by Kaspov. Tseng has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice cross by Kaspov.
It looks like Vaan Tseng has been cut. Sergei Kaspov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking cross lands there for Tseng. Tseng bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kaspov throws a low kick, looking for Tseng's leg but Tseng calmly moves out of range. Kaspov takes a swing at Tseng's ribcage but misses. Kaspov throws a lazy uppercut
and Tseng counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kaspov scores with a decent looking hook. Tseng blocks a head kick by Kaspov.
Tseng shoots in and gets a takedown into Kaspov's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kaspov working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tseng has passed into half guard!
Tseng throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kaspov is trying to get back to full guard. Kaspov works his way to full guard. Good work. Tseng got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kaspov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tseng has managed to get both his arms back between Kaspov's legs - danger averted. Tseng with a nice head shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tseng postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kaspov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tseng defends it easily. Tseng is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kaspov working a defensive guard here.
Tseng postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kaspov looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Tseng controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kaspov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kaspov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Tseng keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kaspov's head. Tseng has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaspov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kaspov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Tseng is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kaspov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tseng looking to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaspov has gone for a leg lock! Tseng slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kaspov's guard. Kaspov controls Tseng momentarily but Tseng frees himself. Tseng loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tseng landing some decent shots from guard. Tseng postures up and lands a big shot to Kaspov's brow. Tseng working some strikes from top position. Tseng working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kaspov wants to sweep but no luck. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tseng's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Kaspov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tseng distracts Kaspov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tseng postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kaspov pulls Tseng in close to his closed guard and prevents Tseng from doing any damage or advancing position. Kaspov has his foot on Tseng's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tseng works his way back into a safe position though.

Kaspov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Tseng is tapping out - this one is all over!
