Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nate Murdock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas Cabrera is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Murdock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lucas Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdock swings widly with a right hand

Cabrera content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
It looks like Cabrera might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murdock tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Well, with Cabrera on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Murdock is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Cabrera has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Murdock's body.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Cabrera counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Lucas Cabrera comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Cabrera has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
