The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aldo throws a low kick but Dignity moves out of range easily.
Aldo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Aldo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dignity slips a jab from Aldo.

Dignity takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dignity crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Aldo - the referee stops the clock and Dignity gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Aldo. Dignity manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

It looked like Aldo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That was a close round but I would say that Jose Aldo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dignity tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aldo defends well and Dignity ends up having to push Aldo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dignity connects with a nice short shot to Aldo's temple.
