Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Watsz Mawe and Jo Ballinger. Ballinger has chosen Cheese Scones as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Watsz Mawe! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Jo Ballinger! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Ballinger moves into the clinch. Ballinger is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ballinger manages to pull guard.
Mawe wants to control from the top but Ballinger keeps moving. Ballinger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ballinger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mawe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ballinger is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mawe is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ballinger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mawe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mawe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mawe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ballinger is keeping the position for now.

Mawe trying to control the position from guard on top but Ballinger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mawe lying in Ballinger's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Ballinger decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Mawe taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
