The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clay.
Hall is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Clay looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Hall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hall feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Floyd Clay dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Hall counters with a three punch combo that has Clay backing up. Clay nods at Hall to acknowledge the strikes.
Floyd Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hall moves away.
Hall wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Hall takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

It looked like Hall was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Hall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Clay to the ground. Hall is now in Clay's guard.
Clay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hall working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hall throws an elbow that misses. Clay uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hall's guard. Nice move by Clay!
Clay trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hall has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Clay doesn't defend quickly enough and Hall has managed to lock this one up! Can Clay escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hall on a fantastic submission victory.
