Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordon Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leon Danielson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordon Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leon Danielson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Wright as Danielson shoots in. Wright is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Danielson. Wright throws a right and a left that both miss. Wright throws a series of punches but Danielson avoids them all with ease. Danielson misses with a hook. Wright ducked under it nicely. Danielson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wright tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Danielson manages to circle out of the way. Wright tries to close the distance and clinch up but Danielson swats him away and circles back towards the center. A momentary lapse in concentration from Wright enables Danielson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wright manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wright manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wright takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big right from Danielson misses. Wright seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Danielson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. As Danielson tries to get set, Wright tries to push him back and clinch up but Danielson manages to avoid the attempt. Jordon Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Danielson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wright steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Danielson. Wright wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Danielson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A head kick misses from Danielson. Danielson moves into the clinch. Danielson blocks the elbow strike.
Danielson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Danielson scores with a nice hook to the head. Wright throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Danielson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danielson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Danielson shoots for a takedown but Wright saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A counter left hand to the body from Wright misses its target. Danielson misses with a head kick.
Wright tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wright scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Danielson shoots in but no luck this time. Wright is looking for a counter combo. Danielson moves into range and clinches up with Wright. Wright will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Danielson up against the cage. Danielson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright scores with a knee to the head.
Wright lands an elbow inside that Danielson shrugs off. Wright tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wright ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wright no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Danielson throws a big elbow that misses. Danielson throws an elbow that misses. Wright uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Danielson's guard. Nice move by Wright! Danielson is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Danielson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wright accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wright scoring with punches to the head and body. Danielson being controlled here, momentarily. Wright stops Danielson from standing up. Danielson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jordon Wright will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Danielson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wright sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A kick lands to the mid section there for Danielson. Danielson takes the fight into the clinch. Danielson lands on the inside with an uppercut. Danielson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wright walks forward, straight into a front kick from Danielson. Danielson lands a big head kick that sends Wright tumbling to the mat! Danielson takes a step backwards and waves Wright back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wright is rocked!
It looks like Jordon Wright has been cut. Leon Danielson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Danielson shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Wright is out cold and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Leon Danielson! Leon Danielson looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'These hammers fell, and your face just happened to be my anvil. Better luck next time.'.
