Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Domagoj Glavas and Paez Paez. Domagoj Glavas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Paez Paez! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Glavas moves into range and clinches up with Paez. Paez wants a takedown.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Paez's guard. Paez looking for submissions off his back. Glavas is trying to work for a kimura but Paez is defending well.

Paez is looking for a sweep. Glavas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Paez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glavas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Glavas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Paez is just riding it out for now. Glavas eventually gives up the hold. We've been hearing good reports from Glavas's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Paez is refusing to be controlled, as Glavas sits in half guard.

Glavas is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Paez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Paez shrugs it off. Paez is working to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Glavas has the hooks in. Paez is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Paez looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Paez breaks Glavas's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Glavas (10) vs (2) Paez Paez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Glavas has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Paez is looking to defend but Glavas has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Paez! Glavas pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Paez taps out and this one is all over!
