Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Tarasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Tarasov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Larsson! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsson misses with a straight right. Tarasov throws a poor cross that misses
and Larsson counters with a straight right hand. Tarasov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Larsson! But no joy. Donk. Larsson catches Tarasov right on the button with a cross. Larsson cracks Tarasov with an open hand slap. Tarasov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Peter Larsson has been cut. Larsson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tarasov.
Tarasov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Larsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Tarasov throws a lazy uppercut
and Larsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Larsson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tarasov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Larsson. Larsson looks to land a right hand but Tarasov moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larsson slips under a jab from Tarasov. Larsson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Larsson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Larsson lands a body shot.
Tarasov moves out of range of the strikes. Larsson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Larsson throws a jab but it's blocked by Tarasov. Tarasov tries to counter with a takedown but Larsson is quick to defend against it. Tarasov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Larsson counters with a left to the body. Nice defenses there by Larsson. Larsson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Tarasov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Larsson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Tarasov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tarasov passes Larsson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tarasov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Tarasov trying to pass the guard but Larsson defending well. Tarasov passes the guard and advances to mount! Tarasov looking for a guillotine from mount but Larsson is having none of it. Larsson taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larsson has left one of his arms exposed and Tarasov doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Larsson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ivan Tarasov! Ivan Tarasov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
