Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rafael Silva and Fedor Putin. Fedor Putin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Fedor Putin! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Putin's waist but Putin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side. Silva closes the distance but Putin moves to the side and Putin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Silva (0) vs (2) Putin Putin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Silva keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Putin trying to mount his opponent but Silva defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Putin is working for a submission of some sort.
Putin is trying to work for a kimura but Silva is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Putin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Silva looking for submissions off his back. Silva trying to control but Putin postures up.
Silva won't allow Putin to pass to mount. Silva wants to get back to full guard. Putin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Putin is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Putin to get the leverage. Putin wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs. Silva is not content to let Putin control the position.

Silva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva keeping moving, preventing Putin from controlling successfully. Silva has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Putin doesn't defend quickly enough and Silva has managed to lock this one up! Can Putin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Silva on a fantastic submission victory.
