Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and herman sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Eduardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, herman sanchez!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

sanchez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Eduardo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

I looks like sanchez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Eduardo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. sanchez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Eduardo.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

sanchez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eduardo has escaped the position, nice work there.

and sanchez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by sanchez.

sanchez decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as sanchez takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Well sanchez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
