Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Connor McClosky and Mr Grapple. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? McClosky scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Grapple tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Grapple is looking to take a break and control but McClosky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Grapple is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McClosky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Grapple content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Let's hope that Grapple has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Grapple thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Grapple is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McClosky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McClosky is looking for a sweep. Grapple is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McClosky has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Grapple trying to control the action but McClosky is working from the bottom. Grapple working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McClosky manages to get back to half guard.

Grapple passes to full mount! Score +3 for passing guard: McClosky (4) vs (14) Grapple Grapple trying to control but McClosky is having none of it. Grapple has control of McClosky's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McClosky regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Grapple working for a choke but McClosky is defending well. Grapple not allowing McClosky to control his hands. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grapple is hanging on to McClosky's back as he tries to escape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Grapple is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
