Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideki Fukunishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fukunishi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Holt tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fukunishi is in Holt's guard.

Holt has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Fukunishi is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Holt breaks from the clinch.
Fukunishi looks to land a body kick but Holt moved away.
Holt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Holt went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Holt lands some shots froms side control.

Fukunishi is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The ground and pound from Holt seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Holt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Holt thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fukunishi is trying to improve his position.

Holt stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Fukunishi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fukunishi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Holt manages to get back to half guard.
Holt is trying to stand up here but Fukunishi is controlling him well.
Holt is not content to let Fukunishi control the position.

Holt wants to control but Fukunishi is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fukunishi stops Holt from getting back to his feet.
Holt trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Holt tries to kick Fukunishi off but Fukunishi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Holt has a hand on Fukunishi's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Fukunishi takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Holt is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The referee warns Holt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holt bucks Fukunishi off and manages to get back to his feet!

Fukunishi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Holt is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Holt is breathing heavily.
Holt is desperately trying to improve his position but Fukunishi has a good base and remains in mount.
Holt wants to hold on but Fukunishi pushes him away.
Holt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Holt is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Fukunishi has taken his back!
Fukunishi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fukunishi is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Holt darts in looking for a takedown but Fukunishi gets double underhooks and turns Holt into the cage.
Fukunishi looks to score with a jab to the body but Holt is just out of range.

Fukunishi moves into the clinch successfully.
Fukunishi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Holt after a bit of a struggle.

Holt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fukunishi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Holt counters with a one-two to the body.
Fukunishi throws a head kick but Holt moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fukunishi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holt pinned against the cage. Holt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Daniel Holt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hideki Fukunishi.

Fukunishi goes for a double leg but Holt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Holt continues to drive forward.

Fukunishi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Holt to the mat! Holt manages to get full guard.

Holt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fukunishi is aware though and is defending well.

Holt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fukunishi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fukunishi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Holt wants to get back to his feet but Fukunishi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Holt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fukunishi defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fukunishi closes the distance looking for a takedown. Fukunishi picks Holt up and slams him brutally to the floor. Holt is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
