The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurya fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Maurya sizes up Brown with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Maurya rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maurya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.
Maurya clobbers Brown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Brown throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

It looks like Jim Brown has been cut.
Maurya stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brown.

Maurya swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Brown pivots, looking for a leg kick but Maurya is out of range and Brown settles back down.
Brown lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maurya crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brown - the referee stops the clock and Maurya gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brown. Maurya manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Maurya counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
