Steele is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cinderella Man. Sara McSlamm has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
41 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sara McSlamm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, George Steele! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McSlamm pinned against the ropes. McSlamm gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. It looked like McSlamm wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Steele tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McSlamm swivels and escapes. Steele darts in looking for a takedown but McSlamm gets double underhooks and turns Steele into the ropes. Sara McSlamm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Steele. Steele drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McSlamm tries to improve position but can't. Steele lands a decent elbow from side control. My spies in The Ultimate Fight House inform me that Steele has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Steele is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McSlamm is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steele tries for a kimura but McSlamm is defending well. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Steele tries for an arm triangle. Steele thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. McSlamm sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steele is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McSlamm defends it well. McSlamm is looking for a sweep. Steele is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McSlamm is trying to maintain the position but Steele is very close to passing his half guard. Steele is trying to control. McSlamm wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Steele wants to work for an arm triangle but McSlamm is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Steele is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McSlamm is just riding it out for now. Steele eventually gives up the hold. Steele wants to work for an arm triangle but McSlamm is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Steele is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Steele looking to control but McSlamm is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McSlamm blocking the ground and pound. Steele can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McSlamm is looking to escape. Steele throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for McSlamm because Steele loaded up on that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steele is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McSlamm to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McSlamm shrugs it off. McSlamm is desperately trying to improve his position but Steele has a good base and remains in mount. Steele tries to control but McSlamm wriggling away. McSlamm tries to hold on but Steele pushes him away. Steele working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Steele moves to take his opponent's back. Steele throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Steele is looking to control McSlamm but McSlamm is wriggling around and keeping busy. McSlamm trying to control the action but Steele just sinks the hooks in.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Steele patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? McSlamm trying to control the hands but Steele breaks the grip. Steele is looking for the choke from the back position but McSlamm is controlling his hands well. Steele is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Steele is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but McSlamm has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. McSlamm tries to break free.
Steele is looking for the choke from the back position but McSlamm is controlling his hands well. Well, with Steele on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before McSlamm is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Steele is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

That's six minutes gone in the round. McSlamm preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Steele. Steele looks winded! Steele working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. I really don't envy McSlamm right now.
McSlamm is working hard here to advance position. Steele is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at McSlamm. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. McSlamm is having to fend off submission attempts from Steele, who is looking to sink in the choke. Steele doesn't have the hooks in though and McSlamm manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McSlamm lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

McSlamm stands up over Steele, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. McSlamm lands a couple of digs. Steele is looking for a triangle but McSlamm pushes his legs off easily.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. McSlamm is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Steele escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McSlamm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McSlamm got a little sloppy there for a moment and Steele has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McSlamm has managed to get both his arms back between Steele's legs - danger averted. McSlamm landing with the ground and pound. McSlamm trying to control but Steele is working from the bottom. McSlamm stopping the sweep attempt from Steele. McSlamm postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. McSlamm scoring with some ground and pound. Steele is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! McSlamm rolls with it to try and escape but Steele cranks on the arm and McSlamm is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
