Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Fair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Cobb!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fair scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Trey Cobb has been cut.
Cobb tries to work over Fair's front leg with a kick but Fair checks it.
Cobb scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fair closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fair lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cobb has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cobb and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cobb tries to clinch but Fair moves out of range.
Fair throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cobb should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fair throws a right and a left that Cobb avoids nicely.
Rick Fair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fair lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


That has opened up Trey Cobb's cut even more.
Fair lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A jab-cross combination lands for Fair and sends Cobb crashing to the mat! Fair follows him down to the mat - Cobb regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Fair slips a nice elbow through Cobb's hands, connecting with Cobb's forehead.
Cobb blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fair.
Fair landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Cobb is trying to get back to full guard.
Cobb gets full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cobb wants to sweep here but Fair controlling him for the moment.

Cobb had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fair is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cobb Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fair's back instead.
Cobb looks gassed!
Fair is trying to break free.
Fair is trying to get back to his feet but Cobb has full control of the position and if anything, Fair has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cobb is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Fair is tapping out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Trey Cobb!
