Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Blade! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blade on his heels. He'll look to pass Blade's guard now, I'm sure. Harrison throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Blade had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Harrison defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harrison postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Blade wants to control but Harrison passes easily into half guard.
Harrison throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrison is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Blade tries to roll over but Harrison keeps him under control. Blade misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blade wants to control but Harrison is keeping busy.
Harrison is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Blade is still trying to improve position. Harrison thows a huge punch but Blade dodges it nicely.

Harrison is looking for a kimura but Blade is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Harrison to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Harrison really is a fat lump. Blade scores with a decent looking hook. Blade has closed the distance and engaged Harrison in a clinch.
Blade lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Blade has Harrison pressed against the cage.
Blade pulls guard. We've been informed that Blade has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blade throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Harrison escapes and throws Blade's legs to the side, diving into side control! Blade looks winded! Harrison goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Blade rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Harrison's guard! Nice work there by Blade! Blade postures up and lands a big shot to Harrison's brow. Harrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Harrison trying to keep a closed guard but Blade is proving a slippery customer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Harry Harrison will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
A head kick misses from Blade. Harrison closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blade circles away. Blade misses with a series of wild punches.
Harrison drives through with a takedown into guard. Harrison throws an elbow that misses. Blade uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Harrison's guard. Nice move by Blade! Blade chips away with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blade content to stall in guard here. Harrison lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Harrison keeping moving, preventing Blade from controlling successfully. Harrison is looking to sweep but instead, Blade has passed into half guard.
Harrison is refusing to be controlled, as Blade sits in half guard. Harrison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Harrison is looking to improve his position.
Harrison tries to kick Blade off but Blade keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Harrison is looking to improve his position.
Harrison has hold of Blade's hands but Blade slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Harrison wants to get back to his feet. Blade uses his free foot to push down on Harrison's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Harrison. Harrison is squirming around, avoiding Blade's attempts to control the action. Blade working the ground and pound effectively.
Harrison tries to reverse the position but Blade maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blade controlling from mount. Harrison really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Blade is in the full mount, landing strikes. Blade avoids the attempt from Harrison to control. Blade wants to control the pace but Harrison is squirming around nicely. Blade is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Harrison is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blade looking to control but Harrison is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Harrison working to try and regain half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Andrew Blade has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harry Harrison is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
