The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy closes the distance and clinches.
Kennedy breaks the clinch.
Kennedy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kramer.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kramer. Kennedy does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kramer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kennedy has him pressed against the cage.

Kennedy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Kennedy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kramer won't be happy with that.

Kramer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kennedy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kramer is trying to work for a sweep but Kennedy has mounted him!
Kramer is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kennedy landing strikes from the mount and Kramer is in trouble!
Justin Kennedy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kramer tries to lock up and control but Kennedy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kramer is looking to improve his position but Kennedy isn't that keen on the idea.
Kramer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kennedy . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kramer tries to control Kennedy 's body but Kennedy pushes him off. Kramer squirms to his side and now Kennedy has his back!
Kennedy is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Kennedy has the hooks in. Kramer is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Kennedy is not going to allow Kramer to sit and survive in this position.
I really don't envy Kramer right now.
