Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Simon Adabisi and Riff Jetson. Riff Jetson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Simon Adabisi! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Riff Jetson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Adabisi gets tackled into the cage by Jetson. Jetson maintains the clinch. Jetson tries for a takedown but Adabisi manages to get underhooks.
Adabisi is trying to drag Jetson to the mat but Jetson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jetson wants a takedown but no success here.
Adabisi manages to pull guard.
Jetson trying to control the position from guard on top but Adabisi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jetson trying to move into half guard but instead Adabisi has managed to sweep! Jetson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adabisi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Adabisi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Adabisi content to stall in guard here. Jetson is looking for a triangle but Adabisi pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jetson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jetson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Adabisi controls the pace. Adabisi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jetson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Adabisi pushes down on Jetson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jetson gets full guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Jetson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Adabisi's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Adabisi (2) vs (2) Jetson Jetson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Adabisi's guard. Adabisi is looking for a sweep. Jetson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Adabisi is concentrating on defense, preventing Jetson from advancing position. Adabisi is staying active underneath Jetson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Adabisi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

We've been hearing good reports from Adabisi's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Jetson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adabisi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Adabisi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Jetson is just content to waste time from the top position. Adabisi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Adabisi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
