Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Lyon Okiro and Alejandro Scott. On his way into the cage it seems that Lyon Okiro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lyon Okiro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Alejandro Scott! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Scott clinches with his opponent.
Scott is trying to pull guard but Okiro turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Okiro is looking for a takedown. Scott tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Okiro just stands there and leans against the cage. Scott fails to pull guard.
Lyon Okiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alejandro Scott. Scott tries to pull guard but Okiro won't allow it.

Scott is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Okiro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott wants to control but Okiro passes easily into half guard.

Okiro perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Okiro is pressing down on Scott's thigh, looking to free his foot. Scott has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Okiro's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okiro prevents Scott from getting a body triangle. Scott is trying to stick to Okiro's back but Okiro is turning into Scott. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Scott's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Okiro. Scott wants to free his trapped foot but Okiro is holding on for dear life with his legs. Scott looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Scott wants to take a breather but Okiro is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Okiro still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Okiro has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! That's nine minutes gone in the round. Scott seems a little lost for a moment, as Okiro dominates the positioning. Okiro tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Okiro content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Okiro trying to control the position but Scott is working away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Scott wants to lay and pray for a moment but Okiro keeps working.

Scott is taking a breather. Okiro says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Scott's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Scott is trying to control. Okiro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Scott is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Okiro reverses the position - he's now on top in Scott's guard. Okiro sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've been hearing good reports from Okiro's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
