Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ston Hardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ston Hardson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Lee! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hardson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lee counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hardson tries to clinch up and Lee counters with a nice leg kick. Hardson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a nice leg kick. Hardson throws a poor cross that misses
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. Hardson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lee counters with a good, hard body kick but Hardson shrugs it off. Hardson is breathing heavily. Hardson misses with a combination
and Lee counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hardson thinking. Lee throws a quick inside leg kick. Hardson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Ston Hardson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee circles away from the clinch attempt and Lee counters with a right hand to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee moves into range and clinches up with Hardson. Lee gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard. My spies in The Good the Bad and The Ugly inform me that Lee has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Lee is working for a kimura but Hardson is defending it quite comfortably.
Lee is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hardson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
