Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malik Huffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Neil Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins gets a takedown into half guard.

Jenkins stands up and beckons Huffman to join him on the feet.
Huffman misses with an uppercut.
Jenkins blocks a head kick by Huffman.

Jenkins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Huffman manages to escape and get back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice sprawl there from Jenkins as Huffman shoots in.

Huffman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Huffman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jenkins is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Huffman is fighting to break Jenkins's control of his arms but Jenkins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jenkins closes the distance and clinches.
Huffman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jenkins just stands there and leans against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jenkins gets through Huffman's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Huffman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Malik Huffman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Huffman pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huffman is trying to hold Jenkins in close to prevent damage but Jenkins has managed to pass into half guard.
Jenkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jenkins in particular looking to stall.

Jenkins decides to stand up, so the ref orders Huffman to his feet.

Well, if Jenkins is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jenkins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Huffman has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jenkins is trying to control. Huffman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Huffman is looking for a sweep. Jenkins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neil Jenkins dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Huffman blocks a leg kick.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jenkins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Huffman keeps working.

Jenkins stands up and beckons Huffman to his feet.
Jenkins displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Huffman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Huffman slips a jab and a cross from Jenkins.
Huffman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jenkins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jenkins has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jenkins missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Huffman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jenkins is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are battling for position here. Huffman manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Huffman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there.
Jenkins controls from within his opponent's guard.
Huffman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Jenkins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Huffman is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Jenkins presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jenkins has hold of one of Huffman's legs. Huffman is fighting the takedown attempt but Jenkins gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Jenkins gets to his feet. Huffman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Huffman rushes Jenkins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Huffman jumps guard but Jenkins stands there with Huffman around his waist. Huffman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jenkins. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Huffman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jenkins just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Malik Huffman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A frustrated look appears on Huffman's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Neil Jenkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Jenkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Huffman pulls Jenkins in to control the position.
Jenkins wants to get up but he can't break Huffman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jenkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Huffman wants to sweep here but Jenkins controlling him for the moment.
Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Huffman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Huffman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jenkins defends it easily.
Jenkins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Huffman is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Jenkins drives through and clinches with Huffman against the cage.
Huffman is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jenkins to keep the fight standing.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Huffman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jenkins walks away with a smile on his face. Huffman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Malik Huffman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jenkins lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jenkins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Huffman on his heels. He'll look to pass Huffman's guard now, I'm sure.

Huffman pushes Jenkins off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Huffman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Huffman tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Jenkins controlling the positon.
Jenkins has the hooks in. Huffman is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Huffman throws a strike but Jenkins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Jenkins is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Jenkins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neil Jenkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jenkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
