The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
top has a takedown stuffed.
Crede throws a half hearted mid kick.

Crede closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Crede lands in his opponent's guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Crede has eaten all the pies!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and top decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crede's guard.
top would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

top will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Crede is looking for a triangle but top pushes his legs off easily.

top wants to stand but Crede has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

top changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crede looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
top wants to stand but Crede is controlling his arm.
Crede sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crede flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Crede has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. top is working away from the top position though.
top seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
top blocks the strikes from Crede.
Crede is looking for a sweep. top is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Crede gets caught flat footed, as top shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Crede is working top over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
