PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Granville Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Nut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nut throws a series of punches but Salazar avoids them all with ease.
Nut tries a head kick but it misses.
Salazar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nut connects with a solid leg kick.
Salazar fails in his attempt to clinch.

Nut darts in and clinches Salazar up against the cage.
Salazar jumps guard but Nut turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Salazar is breathing heavily.

Nut is trying to trip Salazar. He has hold of a leg but Salazar is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Nut persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Salazar is working an open guard so Nut takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jab, jab by Nut - just one landing.

Nut shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nut showed some decent athleticism there.
Salazar pushes Nut off but Nut dives into side control.

Salazar stops Nut from passing to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nut advances to full mount.
Nut takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nut lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Nut sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Nut with shots to the head and body - Salazar looks very uncomfortable down there.

Nut postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Salazar in real trouble here! The ref calls for Salazar to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
